今回は蝦夷和紙コース。
北海道の植物の樹皮を
叩いて叩いて紙作り…
6歳の女の子も頑張ってくれました
蝦夷和紙が完成して、感想を伺ってみると
「とても楽しかったです。
アメリカに帰って、自分の国の植物でまた
紙作りをしてみたい気持ちです」と…。
笑顔で大切そうに紙を抱いて
持ち帰ってくださいました。

A family visiting from the United States came for a paper-making experience.
This time Ezo Japanese paper course
Paper is made by hitting the bark of plants in Hokkaido.
A 6-year-old girl also worked hard
After completing the Ezo washi paper, I asked them what they thought of it.”It was a lot of fun. After I go back to America, I want to try making paper again using plants from my own country.”
They took care of the paper and left with smiles.
