いちばーん寒い時期の紙すき体験

いちばーん寒い時期の北海道ですが
世界各国から大勢で
紙すき体験に来てくださいました！

楽しかったからと2度目の訪問の方もいて
嬉しくて私のテンションもますます上がります。

紙すきは本来真水で紙を漉きますが
初めての紙すきが
冷たくツラすぎる思い出にならないように
ちょっぴり優しい温度加減で…
所々で工夫を凝らしています

しわが入ったらやり直し！と
みなさん真剣に取り組んでくださいました
飾り付けは北海道の草花や
シマエナガ、アイヌ文様などのイラストをすき込んで
かなり凝った仕上がりになりました。

紙が乾燥するまでの時間はお茶タイム…
ここでも日本の文化に触れてほしいとの思いで
抹茶入りの緑茶と和菓子をお出ししています
今日は思い切ってよもぎの大福を…
ちょっと癖のある味だけど大丈夫かなと不安でしたが、
みなさん黙々と
むしゃむしゃむしゃむしゃむしゃ…
ゴクゴク、ふぅぅ～
リラックスしちゃって、すっかり日本風です。

出来上がった紙を受け取り
「今日は本当に楽しかった！」と大きな歓声！
みなさん本当にありがとうございました！

Decorations include Hokkaido grass and flowers.

The time it takes for the paper to dry is tea time…
I want people to experience Japanese culture here as well.
We serve green tea with matcha and Japanese sweets.
Today I decided to try some mugwort daifuku…
It had a slightly strange taste, but I was worried that it would be okay.

Gulp, phew~
It’s very relaxing and very Japanese-style.
